Just make sure your back side of the floor sticks out further than the shelter, so you can add walls with no issue. Also, just for fun, put a light hook on the same section of a container shelf (same method as above) to make the raft constantly flip over. You will need 3 plank scrap. This will firmly hold 3 containers, even if the raft flips. The next base goes behind the rudder ( yes, the rudder will still work)!
Containers that are locked into shelves at my base will end up on my raft, raft containers will end up in various containers shelves all over my base. Two containers will be merged into the same slot on a shelf. Really weird stuff. Not referring to containers on the ground that animals can move. All of my containers are in shelves.

The last container that I found (exp 30.0), I managed to salvage the doors and 2 panels, but then had 3 panels that where sitting at slightly odd angles that I couldnt remove.
